The Internet Marketer I position within the Marketing organization should be an expert in producing and delivering rich and meaningful content. The Internet Marketer should also be an expert in the best practices for communicating with the public on Social Media and Web platforms.
In addition to content creation, content delivery and customer interactions, the Internet Marketer should be well versed in analyzing the interactions with the content, reporting on those analytics, and making decisions based on what is learned from that data.
While Social Media and Web marketing strategy and delivery are the Internet Marketer’s primary role, they should also be proficient in coordinating and delivering other marketing responsibilities such as Press Release submissions and award applications.
To help nurture our existing internet marketing strategy and scale it to support our growing business, the Internet Marketer will act as a liaison to and work with outside consultants to help evaluate our strategies and deploy new practices.
Because the artifacts of the Internet Marketer are often public with the intention to captivate an audience, we’re seeking individuals that are passionate about advanced technology and all types of energy; from solar and wind to oil and gas.
Lastly, the Internet Marketer should be well versed with the inner-workings of events and trade shows so that they can properly coordinate and deliver on actions required to make the event or trade show a success.
